Day 1

As we anxiously wait for the plane we all had some hungry jacks. We just started to comprehend what a great journey was ahead. So we boarded the plane at 8:30 and began our 11hour flight. The meals were decent, but at least the movies made up for it. We landed in Beijing at 6am in the morning at Beijing International Airport. All tired and excited we treated our selves to some McDonalds. As we stepped outside to the bus we realized China’s weather is as hot as the Australian summer. We were soon picked up by a bus that would take us to Beijing Language and Culture College. Upon arrival we unpacked in our rooms and had some free time. Which involved basketball, badminton, table tennis and sleep. We had lunch which was divine. Then we attended an opening ceremony with the principles of the school. Speeches and gifts were exchanged. Which lead into dinner. Dinner as lunch was very good. After dinner we then had a Kung Fu lesson. We all found it enjoyable and it set a good tone for the rest of the trip. 北京很漂亮！ Alan and Adam
